- കോഴിക്കോട്: വിൽപ്പനക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോവുകയായിരുന്ന 40 പായ്ക്കറ്റ് ബ്രൗൺഷുഗറുമായി യുവാവ് അറസ്റ്റിൽ. നടുവട്ടംപിലാശ്ശേരി കപ്പച്ചാൽ പറമ്പിൽ പി. നാസറിനെയാണ് (27) എക്സൈസ് സംഘം അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്തത്. കല്ലായി, പന്നിയങ്കര, മീഞ്ചന്ത ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ മയക്കുമരുന്ന് വിൽപ്പന നടക്കുന്നുവെന്ന വിവരത്തിൻ്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ എക്സൈസ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ കെ.സതീശനും കോഴിക്കോട് എക്സൈസ് ഇൻറലിജൻസ് ആൻഡ് ഇൻവെസ്റ്റിഗേഷൻ എക്സൈസ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ എ. പ്രജിത്തും ചേർന്ന് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് ഇന്ന് ബേപ്പൂർ റോഡിൽ മീഞ്ചന്ത മേൽപ്പാലത്തിനടുത്തു നിന്നും ഇയാളെ പിടികൂടിയത്. എക്സൈസ് സംഘത്തിൽ പ്രിവൻറീവ് ഓഫിസർ പി. അനിൽദത്ത് കുമാർ, സിവിൽ എക്സൈസ് ഓഫിസർമാരായരായ എം. ധനീഷ്കുമാർ, പി. വിപിൻ, ടി.കെ. രാഗേഷ്, വി.പി. കിരൺ എന്നിവരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
